"I was looking for art classes that would help me to get back to my long-forgotten hobby of drawing and painting and was very lucky to find Jen’s classes. She introduced me into the world of colour theory which demystified some mysteries and opened up endless opportunities to learn and grow my artistic self. Jen provided me with detailed instructions on what materials I need (although being very mindful of various budgets she offers different options). Her classes have only a small group of people making it perfect not just as a learning environment (Jen spends plenty of time with each of us), but also allowing for a little bit of laughter and fun. Overall, I truly enjoy learning with Jen and can definitely recommend her classes.”

" Jenn's mother/child workshop at Melbourne art Classes was a wonderful experience. The day was so much fun! She is a wonderful, engaging artist and teacher and provides inspiring feedback in a clear and kind way. Leaving with a finished work made us both feel proud and accomplished. It was a lovely way to spend a day exploring a hobby with my daughter under Jenn's guidance. I would highly recommend this to anyone. My daughter immediately joined the junior group of Melbourne Art Classes and she loves it."

This year has seen the biggest leap in my creative path. I have really enjoyed discovering my inner artist. My job is so stressful, this is the perfect stress release.

I love the extra learning materials that allow me to continue developing and  learning on my own at home between classes.

“ Love our weekly classes where we come together with like minded amateurs to create art under the tutelage and guidance of a wonderful, funny and caring artist.  Something to look forward to in a week filled with work”

“Jennifer generates an enthusiasm for art classes that is hard to describe. The depth of her knowledge in art history and technique is amazing, yet her real gift as a teacher is to make each student feel that they have something to offer, while guiding and challenging (with good humour) each student along the way in their respective journey. I could not recommend Jennifer highly enough.”

“ I was looking for some guidance and preparation to get into an elite tertiary art course that I was sure I would not be accepted into.I stumbled upon Melbourne Art Classes and received a custom, intensive mini-course over 6 months which helped me prepare a kick-ass folio and get myself into the course of my dreams. ”

“I wanted a super special event for my hens instead of the usual sleazy options. We all agreed and booked ourselves into a private art workshop and there with Jennifer facilitating at the studios, we enjoyed wines, catered snacks and 4 hours of amazing creative discoveries together. What I loved the most was that those of us who had no experience were shown fantastic hacks and tips to get as amazing a result as our one friend who had been to one before. ”
