ENJOY A TROPICAL HOLIDAY AND 5 ART WORKSHOP SESSIONS AT OUR ANNUAL BALI ART RETREAT
EVERY YEAR IT IS DIFFERENT
You can’t help but relax in beautiful Bali and some of us have being going there since the only transport was a ’Bemo jeep’ or a motorbike. Now we have a private driver who knows his island like the back of his hand. We are familiar with several choices of accomodation, for several budget points, all in the Nusa Dua region.
We need to plan well in advance so all interested participants can get the best flights and accomodation deals.
2 hour Art sessions in NUSA DUA IN the hottest part of the day- TAKE A BREAK & CREATE
For 2026, the planned projects will focus on collage, watercolour, mixed media and drawing, with ongoing modules provided for later.
Your 5 X 2 hour sessions will run between October 11 to 16 : 11am - 1pm in 2026
ACOMMODATION TYPES
COST OF ART RETREAT SESSIONS
The 5 x 2hour art sessions cost $300 for all 5.
Flights and accomodation are arranged by participants to meet their own needs and plans. (see some ideas in the accomodation info, including a few options in the art villa, until they are booked.)
For the annual Bali Art Retreat, we have stayed in some varied types of accomodation, always within the Nusa Dua area. For 2026, isessions will be held in a private villa again, so art workshop participants can enjoy the art villa pool, some cool drinks, food deliveries as well as the daily 2 hr art projects.(nice restaurants nearby too.)
ACCOMODATION FOR THE PARTICIPANTS
Participants can :
1- Stay in the art villa, 3 rooms only,(non-smoking villa) if they book early enough (usually about $150-60 per king-sized room). The villa lounge and dining are spacious enough for our art activities, as our groups are never large. The blue dot is where the art villa is.
2. We scoped out the Mercure Nusa dua (where many corporates stay for their conferences) and it is ok, very affordable at around $84 per night for a queen or 2-twin room. Continental Breakfast is $15, optional, has an ok pool, a basic gym and a shuttle to the beach.

3. Arrange their accomodation somewhere else, not too far (ie. somewhere in Nusa Dua is easiest due to traffic delays in that neck part of Bali.) Booking.com have diverse flight/accomodation offers, especially for early bookers, large price range.
GRAB is like your local Uber and it is cheap for a 10-15 minute ride to our art villa from anywhere in Nusa Dua, so when you arrange your own accomodation, it is possible to plan activities in the am, join in for the 2 hour art projects 11am-1pm, and then plan more activities or just chill at the beach.
OTHER ACTIVITIES - Snorkling, beach, shopping, museum, massages, mani-pedi, facials, half-day trips, day-trips.
